There are several new advancements in blinds and shades that help people sleep during the day by completely blocking out the sun, in addition to helping everyday families with their electric bills.
Thick, heavy dark curtains will block out the sun for those people who work at night and sleep during the day such as nurses and doctors, factory workers, police officers and firemen and telephone operators to name a few. The heavy material blocks out all the sun’s rays to darken the room so your body thinks it is time to go to sleep because most people find it difficult to sleep when the sun is up or in a lighted room. A body needs to be tricked into sleeping during the daylight hours and these heavy dark curtains play a major role in many people’s lives when they sleep during the day.
Other blinds and shades have a thick thermal or vinyl coating that helps not only block out the sun’s harmful UV rays during the summer months but also helps with the cold air during the long winter months.
Science has also come up with blinds and shades that have filters in them that help keep out Wi-Fi reception. Tiny wires, that resemble threads, are sewn into the shades or blinds to help block out computer Internet transmissions either coming from inside the room or outside the room. These are high-tech spy type blinds and shades that would probably be used in a bank or other location where hacking into the computer for information would pose a major problem and ease new shades or blinds with the Wi-Fi filter blocking threads could come in handy.
In order to increase a blind or shade company’s revenue they can also introduce shutters to their line of products in addition to having a web presence because the majority of consumers now look to the Internet for what they want or need before looking to any other media, including their local phone book or newspaper.
Another way to increase their revenue for a shades or blinds company would be to align themselves with another website that may or may not have anything to do with window blinds. For example, a weddings photographer does not automatically have something to do with windows. However, they may take photographs of the bride and groom in front of distinctive or unique windows, shades, old-fashioned or vintage shutters, or beautiful color blinds. By performing a link exchange with a weddings photographer, a blinds company and a weddings photographer would both increase their customer databases to include each other’s customers.
There are many new technologies and window blinds and shades, including Wi-Fi block out shades and custom shades that allow night workers to sleep soundly during the day. By aligning themselves with another website, a shades and blinds company could increase their customer database to include more customers and therefore increase their revenue.
